On October 30, 2008, Mr. He Shushan, the director of TEDA Administration Committee led the TEDA trade delegation to visit Oakland County and signed "Agreement on the Establishment of Friendly Relationship between Tianjin Economic-technological Development Area of China and Oakland County, Mich. of the United States" with Mr. L. Brooks Patterso, Sheriff of the Oakland County, (signed by vice-Sheriff).
